Kayak Transportation & Logistics - Desolation Sound

Upcoming 2022 Season: 

Base your sea kayaking adventure from our new waterfront launching facility in Finn Bay, Lund. We have tenting platforms available for overnight accommodations. One and two-bedroom cabins are available for multi-day accommodations. 

With onsite secured paid parking we welcome you to launch from our beach / paddle craft boat launch 7 days a week from 9 am-7 pm. 

$5.00 per boat launched. 

Parking: $8 Day, $50 Week, $100 a month

Tenting Site Platforms Available: 10x20, 20x20, 20x30 Reservable & First Come First Serve

$30 per person /night - Includes access to Shower/Bathroom/WIFI/Garbage Removal/Recycling Bins/Charging Station/Fridge, Sink Use and parking for one vehicle. 

Our facility offers potable water, secure food storage, secure parking and garbage disposal.

2022 Dates - One Way Pickup or Drop off locations (includes single kayak, gear & 1 passenger aboard one of our Transport Canada Approved vessels). Only 12 spots are available on each trip. This one-way option gives you the ability to travel farther into Desolation Sound to see how breathtaking it really is.

We are happy to store your boat and gear, days or weeks ahead of your trip. If you need food or cargo dropped off during your trip we have you covered, we have a walk in fridge and freezer to keep your food at a safe temperature. 

Onsite Storage

Paddle Craft Storage:  $5.00 a day

Food Storage: $5.00 a day up to 20lbs, $0.35 a pound addition. 

Delivery Options

Cargo Only Delivery/Pickup Fee to above locations. $15 plus 0.35 cents a pound. 

Paddle Craft Delivery/Pickup Fee to above locations: $75

Garbage/Recycling Pickup/Delivery to above locations: $1.50 per pound.
